Process
Every piece begins with the material itself: strips of canvas pulled taut across a prepared surface, fixed under tension, then unified by a single field of colour. Nothing is printed, cast or repeated — what the surface records is the gesture, once.
The support
Wood-framed support prepared with diluted wall primer and a scagliola ground — a surface rigid enough to hold tension without yielding.
The tension
Strips of canvas are stretched across the field and fixed under tension. The crossing point is decided once — there is no correcting the gesture afterwards.
The colour
Acrylic wall-grade tempera unifies surface and strips into a single monochrome field. The relief remains — light does the rest.
One of one
Each work is signed and archived with its own certificate of authenticity. The studio completes three works per month. When a piece is gone, it is not repeated.
